Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was also made for the previous generation systems (PS3 and XBOX 360), and so it's graphics and effects are not as advanced as they could be.  Nevertheless, it is a pretty game and I often found myself wishing I was on a ship in the middle of the beautiful ocean.  As with recent entries in the series, ACIV gets even further away from it's roots as a stealth assassination game.  I'm sure there are assassination missions, but I honestly can't remember the details of any.  If, like me, you liked the first two games in the series and dislike the trend away from stealth and assassinations, this game might irk you.  However, I found a way to enjoy the game - the trick is to think of this as a pirate simulator and not an Assassin's Creed game.  And as far as priate simulators go, this game is awesome - open oceans, treasure hunting, naval battles with ship-boarding, hunting, and so on.  So as a stealth game it sucks, but as an action/adventure game it's pretty awesome!

There are four optional "legendary" ship battles in the game that are particularly difficult.  This is me fighting against two mega-ships.

This is a brief view of some of the underwater sections.
