Rocket League was free on PS+ but soon ballooned into one of the most popular games of the year. It's an interesting game; you play as a remote controlled car that zips around a soccer field. There is a giant soccer ball that you ram into and try to score goals. So basically it's soccer with RC cars. It's a simple premise and it doesn't seem like it would work very well, but it's incredibly fun.

In addition to regular driving you are able to gather and use a boost, you can jump and flip in the air, and . . . that's pretty much it. However, these basic moves can be used in amazing ways and there are hundreds of YouTube videos of absolutely insane goals. People slap the ball at a wall then position themselves precisely where the ball will land, and then smack it in with a front flip.

I don't really know what else I could say about this game other than it's simple and fun. I've included a couple of videos I made so you can get a sense of what the game plays like.

The ball kind of explodes when it goes in the net, send all of the cars flying.	Zipping around the field.	There is a replay cam after each goal. It's obnoxious to watch it in multiplayer, but many people do.
	Boom!	You can change the camera style so it always follows the ball. It's useful to click on real quick whenever you lose track of where it is.

Overtime means sudden death.	I'm a dual citizen.
The Rider's Block trophy is awarded for getting a lot of saves as a goalie. I made a video about how to get it.	5-0 in ten seconds. So. Sweet.
	You can drive on the walls. It isn't actually very useful, but it occasionally comes in handy.	That's right, people! I shoot money!
