The Therapist Gamer

This is a top-down racer that focuses on getting better times than your friends, but without racing against them directly.  It reminds me a lot of Super Sprint on the NES.  You race a tiny RC car around various tracks and get medals based on your times.  Some of the races have you going up against AI cars, but many of the challenges are oriented around simply getting the fastest time possible with no other cars interfering with your racing.  You can race against the "ghost" of your friends to try to beat their time.  It's not bad.
