July 2014
This screenshot pretty much is all the story you get. A meteor strikes Earth and monsters are now all around. | There are 3 different playing fields. I'm one the farthest back, and you can see a close platform on the left of the screen (made blurry so it doesn't distract you too much). | |
---|---|---|
There is a whole world with 20 levels where there are ghost monsters that you can't kill, you just have to dodge them. | ||
There's a lot going on, but I'm only on one plane, so it's really not as bad as it looks. | ||
During the game, you can earn and equip 3 power-ups, but only one power-up at a time. When you beat the game, you can play as a Grandma who is able to equip all 3 power-ups at the same and thus reach some special bonus challenges. | ||
When you beat the special challenge areas, the portal will turn gold. I'm almost done! |
Mutant Mudds Deluxe
This is an indie game that was ported to the PS Vita. It's pretty simple in theory: your character walks at the same pace, can jump, and can float for about 1 second per jump. He also has a gun to shoot mudds. You collect (optionally) 100 diamonds per level to 100% complete the game. Sounds simple, but it starts to get very hard. There is a sort of "alterante world" mechanic where all of the monsters in those levels can't be killed, and this requires the player to come up with new gameplay strategies. I thought it was some fun old-school gaming!
