Final Horizon PlayStation Vita

This is how the story is conveyed, as if from a computer program.

The towers with the green pillars of light generate power and can even heal nearby towers.

Before new towers are unlocked you sometimes test them out in a "VR" type of stage.

You can have large power-ups that are generated by killing enemies, which is kept track of at the bottom of the screen.

These giant robot scorpions shoot robot bees. You can't make this stuff up.

Things do not look good . . .

These towers that shoot streams of electricity are pretty cool.

Final Horizon

Final Horizon is essentially a tower defense game with the usual mechanics.  You have towers that generate energy you can use to build and upgrade other towers.  As the enemy marches forward to destroy whatever you're protecting, you can place towers only in designated areas.  The variety of towers is decent and the game is balanced well, but to be honest there isn't really anything here that you haven't seen in other tower defense games.  It's good for a quick bit of fun.
