This is about as much sense as the story ever makes!

The king will eat your Katamari and turn it into a star, then place it in the sky.

The King of All Cosmos, in all his glory. Yeah, he's weird.

If the King is dissatisfied with your efforts, he'll blast your Katamari.

Things like this are annoying - the kings big face and giant text goes right in the middle of the screen while you're still playing against the clock.

You can use the touch screen to squeeze the Katamari into narrow places.

The game is Japanese, okay?

The Katamari is big enough to snag helicopters.

You start out quite small but can get very giant after collecting enough objects.

I don't know if this cat is mad, pooping, or both.

Ah, the demon granny.

Touch My Katamari

In case you don't know what a Katamari is, don't feel bad - it's not a real thing. It's a ball of random objects that are sticky, and thus it collects more stuff when it rolls over other objects. Over time, your Katamari gets bigger and bigger - soon you'll be adding entire continents to your Katamari!

The game is fun enough, but it gets pretty repetitive. It has a few annoying "front-end" issues, such as the King talking to you before and after each level even if you've already played the level before. All in all it's a good Katamari game, but it's quite niche.
